I have a twin brother, Kevin Pajak. Many of you may know him. He and I started a game convention, Texicon, several years ago. It has been a very rewarding experience, owning a business with my brother. He’s my best friend and often why I still do what I do. Having a twin is a rare gift, not many people get to experience. It goes beyond friendship, beyond family. You get to live in a universe with someone else, instead of a universe of one. Since he’s started a family it’s been hard to hang out like we used to do, but that’s how it’s supposed to be. You get married, if you’re into that kind of thing, have a family… they take up your time. It’s been great being an uncle, I love my nephew Zane (I call him Zaner).
I met Tim when he started down the road of hobby company, with his other partners, before I was around. He was this gigantic figure odd to find someone who is as “UMPH” as I am. He enters the room and people say “Wow, there’s Tim” and if I’m with him they say “Wholly Cow, there THEY are”. When his initial endeavors dead-ended and I had the opportunity to create something new with him, initially I did it because I knew he needed help. I didn’t really know him well enough to take the risk I did on him, but I’m a charge forward kind of guy and just tossed the dice. Anyone that games with me knows that I can make some spectacular outcomes, things that shouldn’t be possible just happen when I toss the dice. So I did, I tossed the dice.
What I ended up with was a company that looks like it’s going to make it. I ended up with a partner that is amazing, fun to be around, and a solid good soul. So I feel lucky to have started this journey, especially with someone that I can call brother.
I have a mission, for this company and my role in it. To provide the best support to the business: as its Vice President, Accountant, Secretary, etc.. So that hobby enthusiasts everywhere can get the best products in the industry, and maybe along the way they’ll achieve their dreams too.
